FAQs Care Guide
14K Gold-Filled
Care:
Gold-filled jewelry is designed for everyday wear, but it will stay beautiful longest with simple care: Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreens, and household cleaners. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth to maintain its shine. Treat it thoughtfully and your gold-filled pieces will maintain their warm 14K glow for years.
925 Sterling Silver
Care:
To keep your sterling silver looking its best, avoid direct exposure to chemicals like perfume, lotions, and household cleaners. When it needs a quick refresh, gently buff with a soft, dry cloth to restore its luster.
Pearls
Care:
Pearls respond best to gentle treatment. After wearing, wipe them with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove oils and maintain their natural glow. Keep them away from perfumes, hairsprays, and harsh products to preserve their finish over time.
Genuine Gemstones
Care:
Gemstones benefit from occasional cleaning. Use warm water, mild soap, and a soft toothbrush to gently clean around the settings and restore clarity. Rinse well and pat dry with a soft cloth.
Rhodium-Plated Jewelry
Care:
To maintain the integrity of the plating, avoid contact with strong chemicals, soaps, and fragrances. When needed, polish gently with a soft, dry cloth to keep the surface bright and reflective.
Turquoise
Care:
Turquoise needs mindful handling to keep its surface and color vibrant. Avoid exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and household chemicals. We use treated turquoise so that you can wear it more often, and with less affection from oils and water. But, if you want to keep the stone pristine, you can remove it before swimming, bathing, or heavy sweating. Keep it off the windowsill (prolonged direct sunlight), which can affect color over time. Handled with care, turquoise ages beautifully and retains its warm, natural character.
