Baseball and the Fabric of America’s Favorite Pastime
America’s love for baseball is long and storied. Even for the uninterested American, Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson are influential figures. For some the love goes deeper. As an LA based brand, we are true Dodgers fans. From personally sitting on the couch watching the history breaking 18-inning World Series game on October 26th of 2018–with Muncy’s walk-off home run at the bottom of the 18th that secured our win on the 27th at 12:29 am– to more recently celebrating our World Series win in 2024, we have been passionately rooting for them this season, too. As we approach the Championships, we want to call out our love for the game and our favorite jewelry moments.

The MLB, unlike the NFL and NBA, actually allows fashion accessories while the athletes play ball. Because it’s less of a contact sport, that means that the baseball diamond can showcase real diamonds, and the runs become a runway. Although it’s up to the umpire’s discretion, the players can show real style. Of course there’s jewelry that highlights faith and cultural connections, but there’s also style from beautiful stories.
